Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Holiday Season

In a unexpected crossover event that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who finish the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
